MarnieValenta.com
Marnie Valenta is a massage therapist and birth doula in the Seattle area. She was looking to promote and grow her business by creating a way for people to find her through search engines as well as word of mouth.
When promoting a business you can’t underestimate word of mouth advertising. Even if you aren’t looking for major web traffic, it is important to have a web presence. Just imagine a client of yours is at a party and meets someone who is looking for someone who provides the service you provide. Your client mentions you, but doesn’t have a card with her. With a website that is properly optimized for search engines, that potential new client can easily find you even without your contact information.
Marnie also wanted to be able to update her own site content going forward. Being a small and simple site, a simple and elegant solution was needed. I created her website in a manner that removed all the code from the content areas that would need to be edited, so now, with some basic instruction, she can easily edit her content in a text editor. This will save her time and money in the future.

Morning Star School is a small preschool with locations in Woodinville and Kenmore Washington. The director Karen was looking to update and outdated site and have the ability to update the site content herself in the future. She also wanted to create a place where parents could come to find information and downloadable forms applicable to their child’s school.
Wordpress was the perfect solution for this project. It allowed us to create a space where parents could login to access a special portion of the site as well as the opportunity for Karen to update the content of her site in a familiar document editing and point and click environment. The structure of the site was protected while still providing someone uncomfortable with the coded website environment to update their own copy in the future. I was also able to provide her with tutorials available directly from within her administration panel.

Bill Voxman is a professional photographer from Moscow Idaho. His black and white photographs span the globe, from the rolling hills of his palouse home to the vibrant culture, landscapes and people of Europe and South America.
Bill was looking to provide galleries a way to explore and keep updated on his work. We created a site centered around his photographs, with a flash slideshow photo gallery and dynamic content. A simple and elegant way for him to show off his work.

PRM Inc. is the maker of the Brittjar, a tool used in the paper making industry. The owner needed a place to display her catalog, inform new clients about her product and allow a way to contact her to place an order. This basic site provided the owners of PRM Inc. a professional, economical and no fuss internet presence.
